Finally, Something She Cannot Legislate Away: Gretchen Whitmer To Face a Recall Petition

After a year and change, Gretchen Whitmer's 'Luck' finally ran out. The courts couldn't find a way for her to shirk responsibility for her actions any longer and now she will find herself subject to a much needed, well deserved recall petition. Based on how Whitmer fought this issue in the Appellate Court, there is no detail, no particular word she will not comb through in order to avoid a special election this November, if the Recall Effort is successful.

The level of legitimate signatures to trigger the election is 1.1 Million (after verification). It's slightly different than Newsom's California Special Election, as it would only be one Challenger, a Republican Challenger.

The Recall Efforts are in their infancy, so more details as they are fleshed out. This is such a great turn of events.
