MLB Sued for Moving All-Star Game Out of Georgia; Lawsuit Accuses Google of Tracking W/O Permission

Major League Baseball is facing a lawsuit for moving the All Star game out of the peach state earlier this year. A small business lobbying group, The Job Creators Network filed the suit. It's asking MLB and the union to compensate Georgia businesses that won’t see revenue from the game. County officials estimated the move would cost the local economy some $100M.

Questions around privacy. New documents submitted by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich raise questions about the way Google handles users’ location data. They point to Google tracking users' location even when location tracking has been disabled on smartphones.

And Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg says the clock is ticking on the infrastructure package. He said on Sunday, if the two sides don't reach consensus soon, the Democrats might go it alone again. That's how the $1.9 trillion Covid relief package was passed.
