Television and major media are pushing '2 times v 'Twice'. This is lowering the understanding of the English language!!!

News media and advertisers are all pushing this '2 times' garbage!! WTF??!!??!!

Is this all an attempt to dumb people down enough to suck them into a totalitarian society that believes all the TV says??
