Editorial Victorian Lockdown a shakedown of Victorians by ALP

The lockdown is not helpful in Victoria, just as it wasn't in the recent past. Exposure of a COVID virus at some 150 sites shows the virus is prevalent in the community. But, we aren't having mass deaths. The exposures are mainly asymptomatic. So long as sick people are appropriately treated, then herd immunity will kick in. Lockdowns and masks have not prevented deaths. They have not prevented spread of COVID. The ALP administration ran a quarantine which spread the virus and killed elderly whom the ALP refused appropriate treatment. And the ALP has done it again in aged care.Show more

Meanwhile, press are savaging conservative politicians for ALP failure. Federal Minister Dan Tehan goes on a talk show and suggests those suffering under the new Victorian lockdown can approach Centrelink and is howled down by press who demand more money for Victorian victims of ALP lockdown. It is an Australian vversion of the Dan Bongino observation of press calls 'Conservatives pounce.' They say Conservatives heartlessly point to welfare for problems caused by the ALP. This deflects criticism from the ALP.
