Memorial Day

We honor and mourn for all who served
and paid the ultimate price
For freedom and liberty for us all
it came at great sacrifice

The bravest of the brave are heroes
in the eyes of us all
And those of us left behind
with pride we stand here tall

We wish you were here with us today
your mission was a greater calling
A duty bigger than most can bear
we miss you as tears are falling

With tears in my eyes I salute to you
without you there would be no peace
Standing beside our American flag
lest all our liberties cease
