In Remembrance of Me
(1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
“For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.”

I. God Is In Control
• Good Morning!! I am so glad that you are here with us today!!!
• God is good! As we are approaching Memorial Day, we are looking to a moment that we celebrate, commemorate as the church.
• It is important to note that it is in this moment that Jesus doesn’t want there to be any distractions
• He makes it a point that the only ones here for this special momentous occasion are those deemed worthy. (Expound)

II. See What God Can Do (Jer. 31:31-34)
• As we continue to examine the text we see the elements that are used for this special event.
• The Bread representing (the body), and the cup representing (the blood)
• Jesus is the fulfillment of the new covenant between God and man. (Read Jer. 31:31-34)
• Expound on the importance.

III. God Has Your Future In Hand (Joshua 4:20-24)
• As we finish our text today, we see the reason for why this is to be an ongoing observance.

• Choose Jesus Today!!
