Magnetic Boat with Two Servos Does 10 Inches Per Minute

Here is an alternate design to the magnetic inertial propulsion of a boat using two servos and two stacks of 3 N42 neo magnets.

The concept is that as the magnet is capable of rotating the boat at a point not at its center of mass and the magnet is also capable of stopping the rotation in a manner that is comparable to a collision between two spinning objects that causes translation of angular momentum to linear momentum.
This is believed to be the case since the magnet interacting with Earth's magnetic field is a torque external to the rotating boat.

Here is the breakdown of it working: 1) one of the two magnets is turned to point it's north pole east if it starts on the east side of the boat or west if it starts on the west side of the boat- while the other magnet points its north pole north- resulting in rotating the boat 2) the positions of the two magnets is then reversed and that slows the rotation of the boat but in a different position and direction from where it was started rotating and translates the angular momentum into north linear momentum. 3) This is repeated continuously.

The only reasons a boat is being used is because water surface allows the center of the rotation to migrate very easily otherwise the effect can't be seen and also water offers very little resistance to the initial rotation from the compass (magnets) whereas an axle would be a lot of resistance to it.

Stay tuned:)
