Just like Tim Flannery, Wayne Swan has NOT been successful in his statements.
Just like Tim Flannery, the FAR LEFT ABC holds him up as some kind of Worldly EXPERT!
He's the National President of the Labor Party (ALP)

ALP is like the American Democrats but the ALP colour is Red ( like CCP)
The LNP is like the Republicans but their colour is Blue

So no surprise he holds Victoria up as the
"Gold Standard"
in handling covid19, even though 90% of covid deaths in Australia are from the (ALP) Labor State of Victoria.
NSW has had more international returns in quarantine than any other state in Australia
Our contact tracing and hotel quarantine have stood up to this virus.
NSW now locks down only SUBURB'S - NOT CITIES & NOT the ENTIRE STATE.
When there was an outbreak on the Northern Beaches around XMAS, Sydney ( 6 million people) didn't go into lockdown.
A small section of the Northern Beaches was placed into a short lockdown to CONTAIN the virus and STOP it from spreading to the rest of the State.
And it WORKED 👍

NSW is a Liberal (LNP) state and the far left ALPs President cannot give them one iota of credit for a job well done.

ScoMo actually praises ALL the States and Territories and doesn't single out ANY as doing a bad job.
He did praise NSW as the GOLD STANDARD, because of the huge amount of people arriving from overseas that NSW was taking responsibility for their quarantine.
WHY does the TAXPAYER FUNDED #ABC continue to have people like Wayne Swan and Tim Flannery as EXPERTS in a field that NEITHER has ANY formal qualifications
Swan or Flannery are not Scientists
They have OPINIONS
The ABC is putting them forward as EXPERTS even though they both appear to have gotten NOTHING RIGHT & EVERYTHING WRONG.
