DIY Cough Syrup | Spruce Tip Cough Syrup

I wanted to learn how to make a homemade cough syrup. I decided to try spruce tip cough syrup since the spruce tips were readily available in my area. Look for them in the spring months and gather them up to one inch in length off of the tip of the branch. I've also heard of people making cough syrup out of pine tips. Always do your own research when foraging and making home remedies.
