Such wonderful images we all share of the first Christmas: the Baby lying in a manger, watched over by Mary & Joseph and the animals in the stable, the choir of angels singing to the shepherds, the glorious star overhead leading the Wise Men and their camels, .... How often, though, do we imagine John's description: The Word became flesh and dwelt among us?
