Las Vegas convention industry primed for comeback, but will take time

In a normal year, meetings and conventions have an economic impact of more than $11 billion for the Las Vegas area, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Experts say hesitancy, lack of travel and budget cuts are to blame for the slow comeback.
