What a mess this all was prior. All the work that was done before was wrong wrong wrong. Thinset and glue was on everything that it shouldn't. Had to take it down to the studs and the spancrete out too. The glass for the shower was installed in such an ill manner that one could hardly figure how to get it out - glue, expanding foam, silicone, and some channeling.
