Psalm 6.

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger, nor punish me in your wrath.

Have mercy on me, Lord, because I am weak; heal me, Lord,
because my bones are troubled.

Even my soul is troubled; but you, Lord, how long?

Return, Lord, deliver my soul; save me for your kindness.

For in death there is no remembrance of you; in the sepulcher who will praise you?

I am tired of my groaning, I make my bed swim all night long; I wet my bed with my tears,

My eyes, on the other hand, are consumed with hurt, and have grown old because of all my enemies.

Depart from me, all you who practice iniquity; because the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.

The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will accept my prayer.

Let all my enemies be ashamed and troubled; turn back and be ashamed in a moment.
