20210527 Breaking Them Up - The Daily Summation

Is it possible to break up a large entity with monopolistic tendencies (like Facebook, or Twitter)?

Will it likely cause the company or group in question to expire, or even have serious issues?

Fairly, it will add to the expense of their operations. The reality is though, they'll BARELY NOTICE in the long term.

All this said, that DOESN'T MEAN, I support that approach to dealing with such folks.

My attitude is, let others work towards making alternate products to compete with them.

Even so, the fact is, breaking up monopolistic (or duopolistic, or other) companies (particularly if they're large and "well endowed"), is NOT likely to cause their death or even serious issues.

This is what I discuss in today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
