Cohiba Red Dot Toro Cigar Review

This 6x50 stick offers a dark brown wrapper with an uneven but firm and dense pack, moderate tooth, minimal veins and tight seams with a double cap. The aroma is a slight barnyard and earth with a mild pepper. First light reveals a very deep, take your breath away kind of earthiness with a medium body, long finish and small pepper kick. The first third develops into an overwhelmingly dry, deep pepper nd earth, with a slight spice kick for a few seconds on the tounge after each draw. The burn and draw are both perfect, with plenty of rich smooth smoke. 45 min in just past the 1/2 way point the flavors are just about the same, just getting more mellow and smoothed together somewhat. 1 hour in at the band point, it transitions to a smooth deep earth with a bigger pepper and spice kick and medium bodied licorice just after the draw, keeping the earth finish. Finishing at 1:20 min, the last nub was just as tasty!
