The first half of the 1980s was a volatile, aggressive time in Britain. Yet, the kids' shows my generation grew up with were some of the best. Rarely patronizing, often terrifying, always informative of the wonders and mysteries to be found on this adventure called life. Ulysses 31 was one of the best of all these.
