Our friend Emily wanted to know how to make her own bed - she wanted something simple, minimalist in design and... it had to be cheap. We build things to LAST and so we took this as a challenge. Could we build a cute, simple, sturdy bed for our friend that would be better and cheaper than Ikea? Yes. Yes we can.

Attached here is the cut list and the link to download the SketchUp file for this bed. We used simpson strong tie corner brackets for the bottom corners and just 4 #8 drywall screws in the top. If you want to make this yourself you can follow the video as a guide and the links will give you a ll the supplies you need!
