Little ray of hope, animated short film, Soar by Alyce Tzue

A cross between Miyazaki and Pixar, SOAR is an award-winning 3D animated film about a young woman who must help a small pilot boy fly home before it is too late.

Soar was created as Alyce Tzue's thesis project at school. What started out as a labor of love for beginning filmmakers has ended up drawing the attention of festivals around the world. Soar is the proud gold winner of the 42nd Academy Awards for Students in 2015, the best student animation winner in Palm Springs, a BAFTA student finalist and has been shown in the Hamptons, St. Louis, Seoul, Austin and more.
