Each of our minds churn out about 5,000 useless, random thoughts per day, which is about 1.8 million random thoughts per year. The faster the mind goes the more anxious and stressed a person will be. The mind CAN be tamed. These techniques were part of The POW Survival Guide (which I wrote), which was part of army and navy SERE training during Operation Desert Storm.
