A 40-day-old baby boy, battling serious heart ailments, was ferried from Mangaluru to Bengaluru with virtually zero traffic throughout the journey. The incident took place when a private ambulance driver, Haneef Balanja, agreed to ferry the baby free of cost. As the news of the ambulance went viral between the two cities and with the police made aware of the situation, the ambulance met with zero traffic along its route. The ambulance reached a Bengaluru hospital in four hours and twenty minutes. Balanja was felicitated by the people for his noble actions, upon arrival.
