Whales are one of the smartest animals on the planet. This one knew that it was in trouble when somehow a piece of rope got entangled around its body. Unable to free itself from this rope, it purposely swam alongside a fishing boat hoping that the humans on it would figure out that it was in trouble. Initially the crew were curious why such a wild animal would swim so close to their boat. But when they saw that the whale was actually in distress and seeking help, they sprang into action. In no time the foreign body was removed. Towards the end of the video, it was such a moving scene as the whale swam away....but not before waving its tail (thus making a splash) as if to say "Thank You" to its rescuers. Such a wonder of nature.
