Maiden Voyage of my Remote Control Crocodile Head at the Park

I bought this Ming Xing R/C crocodile head boat to bring to the park and try out on the lake a few months ago on eBay. Gotta love the "Aminal Simulation Ship" markings on the packaging. Today was finally the day to try it out. I had a friend pilot it out and I took the skies with the DJI FPV to capture the voyage from the air. Within a few minutes, we lost control of it and it was drifting at the mercy of the lake. I was flying very low to the water and my altitude warning was lighting up in the display in my goggles. By the time we packed up my equipment and talked to a few folks along the walk to the other side of the lake, one of the fishermen told us that this strange man we had seen earlier and fished out my RC Gator head and he was now gone. I still have the remote and the charger, but no gator. I will return to the park tomorrow with the capable DJI FPV Drone and will fly multiple reconnaissance missions over the lake and take pictures of all the likely suspects who fit the description! In the past, I have had great experiences with the fishermen that I encounter around the lake at this park. This guy was an odd duck. It was not very neighborly of him ;-) ~ Flying39 Avation
