I love cake and cute celebration ones are the best. For this tutorial I'm using watercolor paints to create a very cute Flag cake. This is a real-time tutorial where you can join me as you do your own piece. So let's get started on bringing this cute cake to life.

_Glass of Water
_ Mixing Palette
_ Pencil
_ Paper Towel
_ Eraser
_ Watercolor Paper – I use Canson XL 140lb / 300g
_ Watercolor Brushes – Round – 1 Small & 1 Medium
_ Black Technical Pen – Fine Tip
_ Uni-Ball UM 153 Signo Broad Point Gel Pen

Watercolors Colors Used:

Use What You Have. For best results, use professional grade watercolors. I Used the below watercolors for this watercolor tutorial.

1. White Knights / St. Petersburg Watercolor Paints – Bright Blue, Turquoise Blue, Cadmium Yellow Lemon and Cadmium Yellow Medium
