A young migrant with plastic bottles tied to his body arrived in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on Wednesday (19) after swimming on the border between Spain and Morocco (see video above).

Images show soldiers talking to the boy, visibly moved, before he runs to El Tarajal beach and tries to climb a rock wall.

Ceuta is a small piece of Spain on the African continent surrounded by Moroccan territory by the Mediterranean Sea (see map below). About two-thirds of the roughly 8,000 migrants who arrived in the enclave - and which Spanish officials said included unaccompanied children up to 7 years old - have already been expelled, the Interior Ministry in Madrid said.
