This week we review Sir John Glubb's excellent short essay The Fate of Empire. The Thesis suggests a common cycle among most great empires despite being separated by centuries, great distance, religion, and governmental models. As we discuss we highlight some striking similarities between the fallen empires of the past and our present precariously poised culture. An insightful read for us which we are happy to bring to you!
