Prolonged Mask Usage - Carbon Dioxide Poisoning

1. Have you ever used a 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿?

2. Watch till the End! 𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 to your 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻!

- Do not breathe out into the water you are drinking from, it is prohibited to do so

- Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah) !

- How could the Last Prophet (peace be upon him) could have known 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 harmful 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 ?

Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No 5630,

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,

"When you drink (water), do 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 the vessel; and when you urinate, *𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 your (private area) with your *right hand*.

And when you cleanse yourself after *defecation*, do *not use* your *right hand."*

therefore the following ruling applies:

- Abu Hurairah said:

"The Messenger of Allah prohibited as-sadl in the salah and prohibited a man to cover his mouth."

This is related by the five and by al-Hakim who says that it is sahih according to Muslim's conditions.

As sadl - also applies to leaving clothes hanging loosely from the body

Al-Khattabi explains: "As-sadl is to lower one's garment until it reaches the ground."

Al-Kamal ibn al-Hamam adds: "This also applies to wearing a cloak without putting one's arms through its sleeves."
