DESCRIPTION:

Freda McKissic Bush, M.D., FACOG has been deeply involved in women's health issues for more than four decades. In 1968, she was a clinical instructor in Maternity Nursing at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. Following graduation from Columbia University in New York as a certified nurse midwife in 1970, she worked at Harlem Hospital. In 1974, Dr. Bush became the director of Nurse Midwifery Programs at the University of Mississippi.

Just days before the anniversary of the death of Tonya Reaves (Friday, July 20th, 2012) Life Education and Resource Network (LEARN) and the National Black Pro-Life Coalition (NBPLC) brought together both local and national Pro-Life Champions to demand that all Illinois abortion facilities meet higher safety and regulatory standards.

QUOTE:

"It appears, from the evidence made public thus far, that Planned Parenthood is guilty of criminal negligence, depraved indifference, and gross medical incompetence when they left Tonya Reaves bleeding in their facility for more than five (5) hours. At a minimum, Illinois lawmakers must move to protect the health and safety of their women and children ... and Planned Parenthood must be held accountable for her cruel and bloody business in a court of law," commented Walter B. Hoye II of the National Black Pro-Life Coalition.
