One 4th grader is gaining attention online after giving an impassioned speech on why his school district should end their mask mandate at an emergency board meeting.
With less than 12 days of the school year remaining leaders voted 4-1 to make masks optional beginning June 1.
Masks will be optional for graduation ceremonies and during summer school.
