What God said about the end times is the subjugation of every enemy of Christ under the feet of Christ. Christ' enemies are subjugated not by force but by the cross and by us sharing with our neighbours, building communities, overcoming evil with good, etc.

The work of the church in the world is to transform and change the world, and not to be taken out of the world. And then Christ will come.
