CO 1st Third Cigar Review
We are VERY near the official launch of the CO 1st Third cigar, first in a series of limited releases from CigarObsession and Blanco Cigars! Full production will be available by the end of August 2015. This 6x52 box-pressed stick (my pre-production is not) features an oily, satin finished firmly packed dark brown wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, mottled markings, a large double cap and pungent cocoa pepper and earth aroma. First light reveals a great draw with medium-full bodied smoke showing a very slick smooth slightly sweet earth followed by the same finish plus a tough of zing pepper. The first third develops to a smooth medium body of the same profile while the finish grows very long, lasting well to the next draw. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes the 2nd third drops the earth going to a smooth sweet creamy cocoa on the draw keeping the same long finish. Ending at 1:10 the last third shifted the sweetness to notes of cinnamon joining the cocoa while the finished dropped the pepper going to a smooth light earth.
