How GOP Grew a Spine

How the G-O-P finally grew a spine! With today's ALG Minute, I'm Catherine Mortensen. The ouster of Liz Cheney from her House leadership position shows that Republicans are serious about taking back the House in 2022. The Wall Street Journal's Gerald Seib explains:
"The attention Miss Cheney was drawing was merely keeping Mr Trump in the center of the conversation in making it harder for Republicans to focus instead on what they really want, which is to win back control of the House in 2022."
Former president Trump is widely known to have pushed for Cheney's removal and because of that some think this puts Trump front and center in the party. I disagree. It actually shows that party leaders in Washington are listening to the PEOPLE -- instead of pandering to the insider elites.
