I know it may seem biased, but I have to say that we cats are intelligent, very loving animals; in a single word: unique. I leave here some curiosities unveiled, so that they get to know us even better.

On average, a cat spends 2/3 of the day sleeping. This means that in 9 years of life, you are only awake for 3 years.

Cats don't taste sweet.

When a cat chases prey, unlike a dog or human, it keeps its head down.

The hair balls we throw up are called egagropilos.

Cats tend to be right-handed, while cats tend to be mostly left-handed.

A cat makes about 100 different sounds, while a dog makes about 10.

A cat's brain is biologically more similar to a human's than a dog's brain. Both humans and cats have an identical region in the brain responsible for emotions.
