1. Iceland

One of the most beautiful places in the world. From active volcanoes to the northern lights, this country Is sure to be on most peoples bucket list.
Iceland is known for its absolutely stunning natural beauty and super happy friendly locals, often ranking in the top 5 happiest nations on earth.
This destination might be off your travel radar if you’re on a budget as its infamously extremely expensive.

2. Singapore

And next we have Singapore. There’s no other place like Singapore. Located just off the southern tip of Malaysia, this vibrant city-state boasts a beautiful blend of Malaysian, Indian, Chinese, Arab and English cultures. This nation is known for being extremely clean and safe, one of our personal favourite locations on the planet is the Marina By Sands hotel and Gardens by the bay.

3. Portugal

Portugal is one of Europe’s oldest extant nations, an ancient kingdom defended by hilltop castles and dramatic walled towns. When you travel to Portugal for the first time you will most likely be struck by the friendliness of the people, affordable food and wine, and the diversity of a country that is relatively easy to travel around in just a few days.

4. Thailand

And next on our list is Thailand is the travel hub of Southeast Asia. Most visitors coming into the region fly into Bangkok and make that their base for doing the circuit as they backpack around Southeast Asia.
It’s the most visited country in the region – and with good reason!
Thailand speaks for itself.
With its lush jungles, famed beaches, world-class diving, amazing food, friendly and cheap prices, Thailand is by far my favourite country in the world!

5. Norway

Next up is Norway is very similar to Iceland, it has beautiful natural landscapes, the northern lights, whale watching and also ranks as on of the happiest nation on earth. Again, just like Iceland, its also very expensive, so keep an eye on the wallet.

6. Finland

There’s a bit of a common theme here in case you haven’t noticed? Another nordic country which at the time of writing is the happiest nation on earth. Just what you need after the terrible year 2020 has been. Helsinki in particular is an absolutely stunning city known for being clean, efficient and friendly.

7. Costa Rica

Costa Rica is one of our favourite countries in the world, hands down.
It’s one of the more popular destinations in Central America and, while it’s on the pricier end of the price spectrum for the region, it’s a beautiful and diverse country to visit.
The country may be firmly on the tourist trail and expensive by regional standards but that doesn’t make this country any less amazing. The beaches feel like paradise, there’s great surfing, diving, and plenty of places to get away from the hoards of retired Americans that live here.

8. Sri Lanka

Next we have Sri Lanka, There are so many reasons to visit Sri Lanka.
Endless white-sand beaches with great surf, lush tropical jungle and unique misty mountain towns.
Ancient World Heritage sites and safari plains where Asian Elephants and Leopards roam in an absolute abundance. Enchanting train rides through rolling tea plantations and vibrant cultural heritage. The friendliest locals you could ever hope to meet plus delicious food everywhere

9. Chile

Next up is Chile, Chile is one of the most slender — just 150 miles across at its widest point — and long countries the world. From the snowy volcanoes of Patagonia and tremendous heights of the Andes to world-class wineries.
Traveling to Chile was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.

10. Kenya

And finally we have Kenya. The ultimate bucket-list, honeymoon or 50th birthday dream destination.
Kenya has been in the tourism game longer than virtually any other African country. Other nations may have taller mountains, bigger nature reserves, more lodges and more exotic culture, but Kenya’s decades of experience means it still tops many travellers’ lists, with superb service and its tried and tested itineraries. Kenya’s vast grasslands are safari-classic, with wildlife as far as the eye can see. It’s a country that everyone should try to visit on day.
