The Art of Byzantine Iconography - Saint Nicholas Church

The following is a short video describing the significance and style of Byzantine Greek Iconography, as explained by the Parish Priest of Saint Nicholas church and a Master Iconographer.

The beautiful artwork seen in this piece was largely ruined due to a fire and resulting damage from fighting the blaze which occurred only weeks after it was shot. It has since been restored due to donations.
