Beowulf Symbolism

Beowulf is often hard to interpret and understand, do to the fact it was written over a millenia ago in the extinct Anglo Saxon Language, who is culture has also gone extinct. Furthermore, it is a poem and poems are even harder to comprehend. We will discuss various symbols presented in Beowulf. While this story was created long ago it's meaning is just as relevant today as it was a thousand years ago.
