Hammock Park Grant Trail descent

Hammock Park in Dunedin, Florida has a small, but pleasant set of dirt and crushed shell trails. Mountain bike is the ideal conveyance, since you can easily out-run the mosquitos. Watch out for bunnies and armadillos.

Grant Trail is wide enough for 3 to walk abreast, and runs north-south along the Eastern edge of the park. It sports a fresh water filled canal that has been weired to provide a small attractive pond at the north end. This canal turns west along Skinner trail and blends with the salt-water mangrove estuary over which the boardwalk was built.
