Hammock Park Palm Trail S to Highland Trail

Hammock Park in Dunedin, Florida has a small, but pleasant set of dirt and crushed shell trails. Mountain bike is the ideal conveyance, since you can easily out-run the mosquitos.
Watch out for bunnies and armadillos.
Palm Trail is the main North-South trail through the hammock. Most of the other trails branch off this one. Not a long trail, but the longest in the park, Palm Trail has a soft sand section for which you will want soft fat tires. At the far-south end of Highland Trail is the tortoise preserve.
