Nature sounds, like a summer evening thunderstorm, are relaxing to our minds. The meditation music of the native American flute is very soothing and melodic. Together they help us to sleep, study, relax. They can create an environment for meditation.

Ultimately, they can move us to contemplation. Contemplation of God-the One who created this world and offers it to us as a place of encounter and peace amidst the evil and ugliness of the world.

Rain and thunderstorm and flute sounds are perfect for improving and accompanying a relaxation, meditation or mindfulness program. The calming sounds of nature are a natural tonic for mind and body.
Relaxation, meditation and contemplation are very important to one’s wellbeing. Take time with these relaxing nature sounds, sounds of the rain. Permit yourself to relax and de-stress.

About My Channel:
The focus of my channel is to create videos for contemplation, meditation, relaxation and prayer. They are calming, good for helping us focus and, even a few of the longer ones, good for sleep.

Times have always been challenging for people. My videos are meant to help slow our over-active minds and help calm our anxious hearts. There are so many positive physiological benefits to this.

Most importantly, because we are also spiritual beings, when we turn down the volume of the outside world, we can focus on who we are and what we are called to do.

This renewed focus reminds us to keep our eyes on the bigger picture: that in this life, we are not alone; that we are made for great and good things, even if they are "small" ones; that despite all that we see, there is still something good in this word left fighting for.

Be Bold. Do Good.

How to Relax:
Close your eyes, take a minimum of six slow deep breaths, and begin focusing on relaxing every inch of your body. - Start by focusing on your toes and wiggle and relax your toes - Relax your feet, rotate your ankles and relax your feet - Work up to your calves, relax your muscles - Continue working your way up your body, one body part at a time. Within minutes as you work your way up to your head continue to take deep breaths. You will begin to feel relaxed as if you were floating.
