Marcia Fudge, secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), violated the Hatch Act earlier this year when she weighed in on the 2022 Ohio Senate election, according to a letter from the Office of Special Counsel (OSC).

Marcia Louise Fudge is an American attorney and politician serving as the 18th United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, she served as the U.S. representative for Ohio's 11th congressional district from 2008 to 2021.
