The Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (Chechen: Nóxçiyn Respublik Içkeri; Russian: Чеченская Республика Ичкерия) was a secessionist state in the Russian Federation.
“Death or Freedom” (Chechen: Joƶalla ya marşo, Ӏожалла я маршо, عوٓجاللا يا مارشوٓ) was the national anthem of the separatist Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. It was written in 1992, with the lyrics contributed by Abuzar Aydamirov.
