Our American Money

This video is a brief overview of the history of money in the United States from colonial times to the present. Through a combination of historical images, text, music, and narration, the path taken by our monetary system is traced from its foundation on the Spanish milled dollar, through the period of the American Revolution, to the establishment of the Constitutional Dollar, the emergence of paper currency, and, ultimately, to the fiat system known as the Federal Reserve Bank with which Americans must contend today. The dangers of the current fiat system are explored and illustrated as are the abuses that led to our being robbed of our Constitutionally established money. Also presented are potential remedies for our ailing monetary system as well as resources for further study of this subject.
