Making a drink from cacao popular with the indigenous called Tejate. In Pre-Columbian times it was considered to be The Drink of the Gods. Corn, fermented cacao seeds, and toasted mamey pits (a local fruit) ground to a paste and fresh cacao flowers which rise to the top. One can choose to have it sweetened or not. Deee-licious!
