India sees 362,727 new COVID cases as virus ravages rural areas

India's COVID-19 pandemic is spreading to its rural areas which have fewer medical facilities than in the cities where infections have slowed.
The western state of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh state are reporting increased numbers of coronavirus cases in the villages there.
Shortages of medical oxygen are continuing in various parts of India, exacerbating its health crisis.
