Bible verse to 'expel haters of Jews from my lands' draws ire at pro-Israel rally

At L.A. pro-Israel rally, Rabbi Moshe Parry defends his placard's message - that G-d will plague Israel with violence unless it expels enemies of Jewish sovereignty over the Holy Land - that He bequeathed guardianship over. Why did this notion irk moderate Israeli-Americans so much as to hound the Rabbi to censor his message?
