We all know about earthquakes, famine, pestilence, etc., but did you know that the very first sign Jesus Christ told His disciples to watch out for was DECEPTION & LIES FROM FALSE TEACHERS AND FALSE PROPHETS (Mark 13:5-6). False prophets can be in the church, and they are more dangerous to you than a disease, since they implant false ideas or "strongholds" in your mind that can lead your soul to destruction. This is the front lines of the spiritual war, the war for your mind, your thoughts and your beliefs. Detecting a false prophet is easy if you know the Bible test. Here it is below:

1 John 4:1-6 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already… By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:1-6).

So those of you who sincerely think you know God, do your spiritual teachers meet the test I just read? If your teacher doesn’t teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Bible unequivocally states that these teachers are false prophets and are actually antichrists. This may be difficult for some to accept, and may force you to re-evaluate everything you believed up to this point. Have you been experiencing the one true God of the heavens and the earth, or have you been deceived by Satan, the serpent of old (Rev. 20:2-3), who is the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4).
