So much anti-scientific nonsense has been spread about human immunity. This is a brief video about immunity and antibody production.

You won't have antibodies forever, their production is metabolically expensive and producing them all the time would kill you. Your body remembers how to make them and what the pathogen looks like and makes new antibodies only when the pathogen is present. An on-demand system.
