Creamed Spinach Easy Side Dish Recipe

Creamed Spinach

1 lb Baby Spinach - roughly chopped
3 Tbsp Butter
1/2 C Onion - diced
3 - 4 Cloves Garlic - crushed
2 tsp Flour
1 C Heavy Cream
2 oz Cream Cheese
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
3/4 C Parmesan - grated

In large skillet melt butter, add onion and saute until translucent add garlic, stir for a few minutes. Add flour, cook for 2 - 3 minutes. Add heavy cream stir until well combined. Add cream cheese, stir until cream cheese is melted & mixture is thick. Add nutmeg and parmesan cheese, stir until mixture is smooth. Add spinach. Cook until spinach is wilted and well
combined.

Transfer to serving dish.
