As a freshman in the St. Olaf Choir, I was allowed to experience being among the best of the best. Dr. Jennings was also my voice teacher. Before funding for the arts in public school was slowly choked to barely breathing, I was given an excellent music education. Without that, I would not have accomplished, musically, what I have. I was very fortunate.
