Wide Asleep

Wide Asleep

People seem to be waking up
but many are still wide asleep
A can of worms has opened up
and poured out on the sheep

Reality has cracked its fragile shell
and lies have come to light
Darkness now is in its last days
warriors battle in fight

Evil dominion rule is falling
we’re taking back our earth
We can taste the liberty on our tongues
Owed to us from birth

This war we are in
is an arduous task
Am I doing my part
is a question I ask

Awakening others can’t be done
they must learn it themselves
Figuring out the truth is sometimes painful
not always in books on the shelves

The fog of war it blinds so many
and some are led astray
As more unfolds each passing day
some are finding their way
