Gramado is a city with a mountain resort located in the southernmost state of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul. Influenced by 19th century German settlers, the city has a Bavarian flair with alpine chalets, chocolate shops and handicraft shops. Gramado is also known for its Christmas light displays and hydrangeas in bloom in spring.
